Her love for country music was still in her blood and after the children moved on she continued to pursue her music career. Sandra was also a
certified carpenter and belonged to the carpenters union. In 1968 Sandra started singing with her band in Honky Tonk , bars, nursing homes, churches and many fundraisers. This was the time to start talking about recording her music.
In 1984 Sandra decided its time to start writing her own music and has accomplished that goal with ease. She wrote a song entitled, Look Out Big Boy, in 1984 and kept it in the closet for 12 years. Only to finally find the
opportunity to record and release it in 2006 on Texas Drover Records. A record company out of Austin, Texas. Six months ago Sandra had finally stopped playing in her band as she had found her way with family in North Carolina and
later moving to Gallatin, Tennessee, in 2006.
Some of Sandras music memoirs were established when in 1972 she was on the Roy Wiggins Show, and moved to Murfeesboro, TN to participate on the program. It was a live radio
show, but hearing Sandra singing caught the attention of producer Johnny Dollar and together they released a 2- song vinyl record. With two single releases now under her belt, it was time to move along. In 2003 Sandra did her solo
concert in Bath, New York Concert Hall.
Sandra Lee Burdick has now recorded 4 albums of Gospel music, in which she was the songwriter for every song except for one that she did from the Statler Brothers songbook. Today Sandra is
up and at em in full swing with her music. Preparing materials for her first Country Debut album to be recorded sometime this year.
