Listening to Julie Taylor's music will give you reflections of things
that have happened in your life or someone close to you. Her songs touch the heart and soul of all ages.
Julie is received very well overseas as well in the United States. She is inspired by great songwriters
like Becky Hobbs ("Angels Among Us") and the all time great Loretta Lynn. They have influenced her in her songwriting. Julie has had the opportunity to open for Becky Hobbs twice and hopes in the near future
to do the same with Loretta.
Before moving to Nashville, Tennessee she was born in southern New Jersey but country was what she grew up listening to as her father was raised in Eastern Tennessee. She had her own
band for 7 years before moving. After spending some time listening in the background, Julie is now a welcomed addition to any songwriter's night in Nashville and has developed a following for her appearances. |
She is a down-to-earth girl with a down-home feel to her music. She is a people person and always keeps in touch with her fans. Once you meet Julie, you will understand the words to the song "Taylormade for me!" the title track to her new CD. The song
"Kisses for Kids" featuring Luther Lewis and her co-writer as well and producer, is also the title of her non-profit organization that she started in the beginning of 2005. Julie has always had a soft spot for
kids and always wants to do something special for them. That is why a portion of each CD sale will be donated to the Kisses for Kids Foundation. She already had her first fundraiser for 2005 which benefited children
from Hurricane Katrina. She is in the process of working on the second fundraising event in 2006 for a very sweet little girl who was involved in a school bus accident. Remember the children of the world are our future:
