Nashville Recording Artist Beau Renfro was born the son of a minister in Tyler, Texas. Beau grew up listening to the Grand Ole Opry and
developed a great love for country music. The whole Renfro family played music at home during Beau's early years. By the age of 20, Beau had his
first song published and shortly thereafter started a long and successful career as a Disc Jockey in East Texas, eventually becoming one of the most popular radio personalities in all of Texas. During that time, Beau formed a very
popular Country Music Group, known as "Beau and The Bandits." Beau traveled the Midwest, performing for country music fans and opening up shows for country music legends such as Marty Robbins, Ray Price, Ernest Tubb and
the great Merle Haggard. Beau performed many times on the Louisiana Hayride, won the Dodge Wrangler Talent Contest in 1985 and served for two years as the MC of the Ozark Jubilee. |
